Choosing your sewing machine

To start, I recommend not spending too much on this first purchase. A simple machine is enough to learn and complete your first projects.

Leboncoin is a good option to find a machine at a low price. Make sure it has been serviced or is new.

If you already have a machine, don't hesitate to consult the user guide, it's a valuable resource to get started!

My preferred brands

  • Element by Pfaff (good value for money at Lidl)
  • Singer
  • Pfaff
  • Brother
  • Elna

Caring for your machine

Oze, my repairman, has saved more than one of my machines!
He sells and repairs machines via Leboncoin and will be able to advise you.
